- There are local Medical practioners who visit the Home on a regular basis or when called. Patients are given treatment as per their requirement and also taken to hospital whenever necessary.
- Hair dressers and barbers are also available on call.
- There is free WiFi for those who need it.
- Activities are encouraged to keep social skills alive and the mind engaged and occupied, such as the playing of indoor games like scrabble, ludo, chess, playing cards etc.
- Residents can expectantly look out for Sundays with different activities happening such as games or Housie etc.
- The Home is often visited by prayer groups, people from different parishes, school children, NGO’s, etc. who come with gifts/snacks, conduct games and perform for the inmates.
- All festivals and days of national importance are celebrated in this Home.
- Occasionally, guests are invited to come and speak to the inmates on topics that cover their physical & mental fitness, or other fields of interest. Every individual’s birthday is celebrated in the home.
- There is a recreation room with a music system, TV and a mini library.
- Daily newspapers and magazines which deal in current affairs are provided to keep everyone abreast of what’s happening in the world.
